The light had faded for the day. This leopard had made an earlier kill, and we knew to return to this tree to see if he was hunting again. True to leopards, while there was plenty of Thompson's Gazelle in the tree stash, he hunted anyway. In less than 5 minutes, he was dragging another gazelle into this tree to consume.
Considering what giraffes are carrying around in the form of a neck, their very essence is light and whimsical.
